Nea Hellström

APPEARANCE

Despite standing 179 centimeters tall, Nea has a scrawny appearance about her. As a teenager, she hit her growth sprout early, turning her into an awkward looking girl with long limbs that seemed uncoordinated. She still hasn't completely out-grown that looked in her early twenties, and it is doubted whether or not she will.

Her skin is pale, though dotted with childhood scars. Most noticeable are the ones on her knees and knuckles, giving the impression she was a kid who liked to play rough. On her chin and cheeks, she has remnants of acne scaring, and still suffers from blemishes every now and then. It doesn't seem to bother her, and as such she hasn't done much to retain a proper skincare routine.

Nea considers herself to be a decently attractive person, when she bothers to put effort into her appearance. She usually wears second-hand clothes that are a few sizes too big for her, as she likes the comfort they offer. Her hair is haphazardly cut and uneven. It reaches her shoulders and was once dyed blue. Now, however, the color has faded and there is at least 10 centimeters of blonde roots showing.

Her facial features are strong, with a sharp jawline and high cheekbones. Her eyes are an uninteresting shade of blue, framed by dark lashes. There is a couple of bumps on her nose, as she has broken it a couple of times by now. By now her lips are permanently a strained red, as she picks at them so much. Her teeth a slightly stained from the amount of coffee she drinks, though relatively even as she wore bracers as a kid.

PERSONALITY

Many people would describe Nea as chaotic, and while it certainly isn't wrong, it also doesn't feel quite right. She is a whirlwind of a person, enjoying causing mischief and rebelling against authorities when she can. Yet there is also a sense of something to her, something a bit softer than her tagging buildings and keying cars.

Nea doesn't like the idea of being seen as a 'misunderstood youth'. It isn't a box she wants to be slotted into, as she doesn't feel misunderstood. Her cause is varying, depending on which way the wind blows when she wakes up. Despite of this, Nea is a surprisingly understanding person - she likes talking to others and getting to know them. While she doesn't believe she can change the world, it's a fun fantasy to entertain.

She takes pride in her street art, and it turned out she had a talent for it as well. It's a good outlet for her, even if she has to jump a couple of fences from time to time, to get find an ideal canvas.

Despite their differences, Nea does love and care for her parents, though she rejects the pressure they try to put on her. She doesn't want to be what they consider to be 'proper' and mingle with high society.
